1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BatchImage Studio ("the Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of Service

BatchImage Studio is a native Windows desktop application for batch image processing, including compression, resizing, format conversion, cropping, rotation, watermarking, sharpening, blurring, color adjustments, and AI-powered background removal. All processing occurs locally on your device.

3. License Grant

Upon purchase, you are granted a single-user, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use BatchImage Studio on your personal or work devices. This license is perpetual — once purchased, you may use the current version and all future maintenance updates indefinitely.

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Application to third parties
• Share your license key with others for simultaneous activation beyond the activation limit
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Application, except where permitted by law
• Use the Application for any unlawful purpose

4. Activation and Device Limits

Each license key is subject to an activation limit. When you activate the Application, a hashed hardware identifier is stored on our license server to track activation slots. You may deactivate a license on one device to free up a slot for use on another device.

5. Purchases and Payment

All purchases are processed through Gumroad. Gumroad's own terms and conditions apply to the payment transaction. BatchImage Studio does not collect or store your payment information.

Prices are listed in USD. You are responsible for any applicable taxes or currency conversion fees.

6. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with BatchImage Studio for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your purchase by contacting the developer through the support form on our website with your Gumroad order ID.

Refund requests made after 30 days are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

7. Updates

The Application may check for updates periodically. Maintenance updates (bug fixes, minor improvements) are provided free of charge for the lifetime of your license. Major version upgrades may require a separate purchase at the developer's discretion.

8. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring the Application meets your requirements before relying on its output
• Maintaining backups of your original image files (the optional auto-backup feature is provided as a convenience but does not replace your own backup strategy)
• Using the Application in compliance with all applicable laws
• The content of images you process — BatchImage Studio processes whatever files you provide and does not filter or censor content

9. Intellectual Property

BatchImage Studio, including its source code design, UI, and all associated materials, is the intellectual property of Orkhan Mursalov. Your license grants usage rights only; ownership of the software remains with the developer.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

BatchImage Studio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

The developer does not warrant that the Application will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its output will meet your specific expectations. You use the Application at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Application.

The total liability of the developer for any claims related to the Application shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license.

12. Third-Party Components

BatchImage Studio includes third-party libraries and services. Their respective licenses and terms are documented in the THIRD_PARTY_LICENSES.txt file included with the Application. Payment processing is handled by Gumroad under their own terms.

13. Termination

Your license may be terminated if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Application and destroy all copies in your possession. In the event of a license revocation (e.g., key found to be fraudulent), the Application will deactivate and no further use will be permitted.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's jurisdiction. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before any legal proceedings.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
